Hoyle's seconds: a little imperfect, but just as fun
Every now and then, a game or puzzle arrives with a bit of character—a scratch here, a dent there, a slightly scuffed box... These seconds may not be pristine, but they’re still perfectly playable, and we’d rather see them go to a good home than sit on the sidelines! If you don’t mind a little cosmetic wear and tear, this is a great way to pick up something brilliant at a bargain price.
In this case, the white king has a small varnish stain, less than 1cm across.
